Bush Bean Early Bush Italian - 1 Pkt. (2 oz.)

"Great Italian bush variety is easy to grow and quick to yield. The 16-18"" plants are more erect, so it's easy to pick the 5-1/2"" long beans. For robust bean flavor, make ""Early Bush Italian"" your first choice.
Plants yield early and need no support. The pods remain stringless, and are excellent frozen.
Burpee Exclusive. Full Sun. Our seed is not treated.

Beans Galore, August 27, 2009
Submitted by Bishop1 from Tallahassee, FL
"This is my favorite bean because it is easy to raise, very fruitful and tastey. This year the bushes continued to bloom and produce. It has done so well that I don't want to try another, for fear of being let down."

Really Great Green Bean, January 14, 2008
Submitted by RockyTopFarmer from Cookeville, TN
"This Itialian Bush Bean has the best flavor, ever. 1/2 pound of seed gave me 3 to 4 - 18 foot rows and yealded 42 quarts. They are great canned. Just add a couple strips of bacon, little onion, and 1 cube chicken bouillon for the best grean beans."

spring or fall, February 23, 2007
Submitted by julieb
"I planted these beans in the fall around early Septemeber. They produced marvelously, and my 94 year old grandmother said they were the best green beans she had ever eaten. Our whole family agreed with her. I am going to have two crops of these this year, one in te spring, and one in the fall. We live in northwest Louisiana so these beans will do great in the fall as well."

"I am going into my 4th season with these beans because they are simply the best green beans I have ever grown and eaten. I start 50-60 plants a season and they produce so many beans I have trouble picking them fast enough. When steam cooked they melt in your mouth and NO strings. My wife and I freeze them and have plenty of beans to last until the following summer."
