My kind of Sunflower,
July 31, 2008 Submitted byLionking from Queens, NY
"I'm not a fan of sunflowers generally because they tend to grow too tall and look like evil eyes hanging over the fence, but this breed only grew hip high and were pleasant, beautiful flowers. I was very surprised."

"I grew this sunflower for the first time this year and have enjoyed it quite well. The best way to describe these is to say they look sharp. While they were the last of ten different types of sunflowers to bloom, which were all planted at the same time, they are strong and crisp in appearance. They add great character to the garden."
