"Melons do best when grown in clusters (hills). Sow groups of 3 or 4 seeds in groups 2' apart when soil is thoroughly warm. One pkt. of seeds will plant 7 groups; one oz. grows 120 groups. 30 seeds per packet.

Creme de la Creme Hybridß75 days. Not a cantaloupe, honeydew or muskmelon·there is simply no other melon like this one. The skin is orange-yellow and lightly netted. Inside, the fruit is creamy white, enticingly marbled with pale orange. It¦s deliciously fragrant, very sweet and slightly spicy. The 7-8"" melons slip from the vine when ready. "This is my first year growing this melon. Has done pretty well considering the horrible June and July weather we have had (very rainy and cold in the north east). Melons look remotely like the picture, mine are more yellow than orange. Fruit is sweet and fragrant like the description suggest. I pick mine as the skin begins to turn color. They slip right off the vine like a cantaloupe. Skin quickly changes to a solid yellow soon after. Yield has been good. I plan on adding this melon to my garden next year."

great choice for a first time gardener, August 30, 2009

"This melon is the first melon that I have ever grown and boy does it perform. It grows well in hot dry weather (in texas it gets 100 degrees plus). It is so juicy and sweet. It's a good idea to lay off the water when it begins to ripen to intensify the flavor. I will grow more of these next summer."

"Grown many a melon but this one wins hands down.The melon turns a great almost neon color and slips off the vine when ready.The smell is lovely.Everyone that tried them wants more.The taste is incredible."

"This has to be the best melon I've grown. Each hill produced 8 or 9 melons, all of which reached maturity. I live in North Carolina where it's been a very hot and dry July. It's impossible not to know when they're ripe because they go from green to yellow-orange almost overnight. I usually only leave them on the vine for one or two days after turning color. I'll definitely plant more of these next year. A real winner. The taste is excellent. I've shared them with several friends and everyone loves them."
