healthy plants, ok yield, poor flavor, October 31, 2008

"Started seeds inside. Germination was good. Plants were healthy and grew quickly. Yield was one to two melons per plant. The melons were watery and bland. I think the wet weather this summer may be partly to blame. However, Ambrosia hybrid melons grown next to these in the same row were delicious."
