"75 days. Market gardeners in Danvers, Massachusetts, developed this variety and shared it with Burpee in 1886. The root is a rich, dark orange and 6-8"" long. A first-class carrot for all soils."

"When they asked on this questionaire, "Would I recommend this product to a friend," the answer would be in capital letters...YES!!! I got some seed from a relative, plan on buying next year. I started early. With my declining health, it is one of the crops I can still bring in...the others would be Green Goliath Broccoli, and Kentucky Wonder Beans...easy, and great producers, ALL of them!"

"I harvest bushels of very flavorful and tender carrots from a 2 foot by 8 foot raised bed. These taste much better than anything you'll find at the local grocery store."
