Great Cucumber,
September 27, 2009 Submitted byParker from Sioux Falls, SD
"I planted straight-8's this year along with burpless. The straight-8's over ran my garden and produced excessive amounts of cucumbers. The sneaky ones that hid out under the leaves got really big. These cucumbers are also great for slicing and making pickles."

"Wow...what a harvest! These cukes are gowing like crazy in my 5 x 12 raised garden bed! They keep on coming and can grow very large if you don't pick them earlier. Taste great large or small!"

"The taste of the Straight Eight was very good, but the yeild was moderate at best. I had much better yeilds from the Double Feature Hybrid last year. I would recomend anyone that likes this cuke to try the Double Feature Hybrid!!"

"This is the first year I have grown the Straight Eight Cucumber. It produces very well and is one of the largest cucumbers I have ever seen. The tatse is excellent. Often, we eat just the cucmber by itself, right out in the garden. Thanks for a superb product."
