"55 days to harvest after setting plants out in the garden. Excellent mild flavor. Big, tight-budded 9"" central heads. Generous crop of large side shoots, about 5"" across, prolongs the harvest for weeks. Good for freezing. Proven tops for productivity, flavor and wide adaptability.

GARDEN HINTS: Sow indoors in late winter or early spring for first crop; outdoors in summer for a fall crop. Days to maturity are from the time plants are set in the garden; add 4-6 weeks to grow transplants. Grows best in cool weather and full sun."

"Largest first heads from such an early variety. The side shoots just keep on coming. From the spring planting, still good size side shoots after Thanksgiving."

""Bonanza" is a great name for this broccoli because after we picked the enormous first heads, these beauties continued to put out side shoots all summer long. We cut the last shoots for our Christmas dinner plates! Have ordered more seeds for 2008."
