"Buy one packet and grow 5 different kinds of hot peppers! Includes equal amounts of Hungarian Wax, Anaheim. Large Cherry and Long Red Cayenne plus Jalapeno. Days to maturity are from time plants are set in garden. For transplants add 8-10 weeks. Space plants 18-24"" apart. Grows in full sun.

Surprise Peppers!,
March 17, 2009 Submitted byMichiganGarden from Detroit, Michigan
"I'm a new gardener (2 years) and these were the first hot peppers I attempted. I started these peppers outdoors in early June. Unfortunately the Michigan weather was horrendous and rainy for the majority of June/July. I had many small pitiful looking pepper plants, none over 6 inches tall. I had given up on any yield but when September rolled around and after weeks of neglect they started producing more hot peppers than I had expected (or believed was possible for their size). I got some of every variety, except the large cherry.
These will now be a mainstay in my garden and with actual care I know will produce an even greater yield."

use the sea magic to really get these going!,
May 5, 2008 Submitted bymeesh from Northern IN
"It took these seeds about 10 days to germinate in a small plastic starter greenhouse, the type with peat pellets, set on top of a regular old heating pad set on very low and wrapped in a towel. I used a digital thermometer, that i usually use in cooking, between the greenhouse and heating pad to monitor the temp daily, making sure it was never higher than 85-90 degrees. Once the seedlings broke through I misted them with the sea magic solution and they have grown leaps and bounds over the last few days! I'm really excited to see which varieties they will grow up to be. I only gave this a 4 leaf rating because I haven't got peppers yet, but I have a good feeling about these sprouts!"

"First, I have a small garden so I took a gamble with the variety pack. Unfortunately, the seeds do NOT come sub-divided into smaller packets (seeds also looke exactly alike) so you have absolutely no idea what you're planting. The plants that I ended up with were 4 Cherry, 4 Cayanne, & 2 Jalapeno...no Anaheims or Hungarians. They're all hot but, since I planted too late in the season, they never had time to stew in the Summer heat...beginner's mistake. I'll do better next time."

"This package is a great choice. Although you never know exactly what's planted where and how many you have of each plant, it's a great surpise to see what the popular recipe item will be. Can't skip this item. ***Plant indoor in late march, DON'T FORGET to let them get direct sun and heat before planting outside.****"

"This is a wonderful mix of hot peppers that grows well, produces well and makes great fresh salsa. I had enough that parents, brothers and friends were able to enjoy them."
