Easy to grow - fun to share, October 13, 2008
Submitted by backyardfarmer from Southeast, PA
"I tried garlic for the first time this past spring and I could not be happier. This is now going to be a regular crop in my little garden. When the garlic arrived from Burpee, I received more then I could use, so I shared the extra's with my sister-in-law who is also a backyard farmer. She also had great success growing these this past year. Every clove that I pealed from the larger bulb grew - every one! When I harvested them in the late summer, they grew into golf ball size bulb that packs a lot of flavor. I have shared my harvest with friends, family and neighbors and everyone has commented on how much they loved the fresh garlic. Give this a try, you will not be disappointed."
