"Large, versatile, lush-blooming annuals with intensely colored 3"" blooms making a great ground cover for trimming walks and beds. Can be used alone or mixed with other plants in containers and hanging baskets.
For quicker coverage, space plants closer together. Space 12-15"" apart for thick coverage or space 3' apart since plants can spread 3-5'. Heat and drought tolerant, they are perfect for dry soils. Height 4-6"". Grows best in full sun. Start seeds indoors.

Wave Petunia Seed,
April 16, 2009 Submitted byMillville
"I was hesitant when I saw 15 seeds and not a great review about germination. I got 100% germination. I ordered 2 packs of 15 seeds but they contained more, I have 44 plants."
Really poor quality plants,

"I Love Love Love wave petunias and would recommend them to anyone. I grow many of them every year and have quite a bit of experience with the wave petunia. However, the plants I recieved from Burpee were extremely unhealthy, poor quality and leggy. To compound the problem of the unhealthy plants, they were also damaged during shipping. Not a happy camper, hoping to get a refund ASAP!"

Very Reliable,

"The seed is expensive, and germination can be less than desired, under my amateur conditions. (because the seed costs so much, and I get so few seeds per pkt, I notice). Once they get to the 4 or 5 leaf stage, and have room to grow, they grow like weeds. A single plant in a 12 inch basket will put on a better show than 4 regular petunias in the same basket."
