Growing Like Crazy,
August 26, 2009 Submitted byGardenGirl88 from Twin Valley, MN
"For first year planting these are doing remarkably well. It's hard not to go out and start picking since they are taking over the garden on one end.
Started kind of slow- had to dig up the roots after 3 weeks to see if they were dead or alive. They were very much alive and seemed to like all the manure I put in their spot.
Also bought growing plants from another source, and all are about the same in size and maturity. Looking forward to my own patch of rhubarb."

One Plant Survived,
July 24, 2008 Submitted byZilchik from Los Angeles
"Order was 2 plants. They arrived dried out and looking bedraggled, one week later than I expected. Although I planted both immediately, only one survived. Since it appears to be doing fine, I'm hoping for rhubarb pie next summer."

I'm dissapointed in this product,
May 12, 2008 Submitted byJustMe from California
"I purchased from Burpee because my Mother recommended them. I ordered 8 roots. Two arrived slimy, dead on arrival. Two more looked close, but I tried, and they rotted in the ground. So, only 50% seem to be OK, and really only one is up and running. I was even willing to buy more to get this going this year, and now they say it's too late, or they have none. Sad."
