But it's very much a tomato, making a tasty conversation piece when stuffed with your favorite salad. Suitable for either appetizers or entrees, 'Yellow Magic's' walls are uniquely firm, thin and tasty, so preparing them is a pleasure.

"Very inconsistent fruit size (1-1/2 to 4 inches in diameter). Plants are indeterminate. (Mine are 5-feet tall in early August. That wasn't mentioned in the catalog or on line.). Extremely prone to blossom-end rot (80% loss due to this condition. We have 5 other varieties in this garden plot and none of the others have this problem). About 3 weeks later in ripening than advertised. Won't plant Yellow Magic again."
