Loved them,
March 30, 2009
Submitted by plantinjan
from Western Maryland
"I was very happy with these plants! The back of our truck was full of the spent plants in Fall because they go out easily 3-4 ft. Very healthy BUT ... they must be in full sun all day. I lost 3 plants because I put them in partial shade. I got away with feeding every few weeks but in bad soil, should probably feed every week.
In addition to spread, they cascade. My front yard was the talk of the neighborhood. We live on a hill and these could be seen thick and cascading from the street 300 ft. down.
Again, FULL sun and you will be very happy. The seeds are very difficult to grow - buying the plants is your best use of money if don't have a green thumb."

Good Pick,
July 23, 2008
Submitted by ColorCrazy
"I had to reorder the packet of seeds 2x before they finally arrived in a vile. The first two times the pellets were crushed in the packet. I now have a beautiful hanging basket and it is a result of only 3 pellets. I would strongly suggest this petunia. It's very danty and has been flowering all summer!"

"This is very poor seed. Only 25% of the seed germinated. The rest of the seeds in the green house were over 95%."

No problem germinating,
May 5, 2008
Submitted by Carole
from OH
"I didn't have any of the issues the other reviewers had with germination. I have 12 plants from 15 seeds. Already starting to get a few blooms! They seem a bit more white than yellow, but will need to wait until in full bloom to know for sure."

"I was very disappointed with these seeds. All of my other Burpee seeds did extemely well. Only 1 seed sprouted very weakly and then promptly died. I would not try the seeds again."

Disappointing,
April 18, 2008
Submitted by beach1
from Lynchburg, Virginia
"The performance of Baby Duck Hybrid was very disappointing. 5 seeds from first pack of seed germinated and they were replaced with a second package of seed. And I thought surely my next set would work and only 4 of these came up. These were very expensive seeds and I had visons of beautiful petunias plants from these seed."

"I ordered the seed and was so disappointed, out of the 15 seed that were planted two came up. All my other seed came up beautifully, except these. I was so looking forward to the yellow flowers. They are so lovely in the catalog. I will not try again."

April 3, 2008
Submitted by carolina

"I love spreading petunias. I ordered purple wave and yellow duck. Almost of of the purple wave germinated but only 3 of the yellow duck when I started them indoors. I am ordering another seed packet to try in case I just got a bad batch of seed."
