"My mother bought these for me for Christmas 2 years ago and these are the best scissors I've ever used for snipping herbs. There is a built-in stripper that works wonderfully for pulling thyme off the stems. The blades are super sharp and they are just the right size for easily carrying out to the garden when it's time to snip some herbs or do some other light cutting.
I also use these for cutting flowers and any other "light" type cutting. I don't use them for anything heavy-duty, although they are quite sturdy. They could certainly be used for any heavier cutting chore, if needed. The reason I don't use them for heavy duty is that I love them so much for their intended use that I want to keep them nice, sharp, clean, etc for use especially in my herb and flower garden. I have never owned a pair of garden scissors that I loved so much. I will always have a pair of these, I'm sure."
