Disappointed, July 11, 2009
Submitted by flowerlady from Hendersonville, NC
"I got excellent germination with Emerald Beauty zucchini however most of the fruit is very pale green and does not taste as good as the 1 or 2 dark green zucchini that the plants did produce. I gave away many of my seedlings to friends and they too have the rounder pale green fruits. I'm very disappointed in Burpee and this zucchini."

sea green, July 11, 2008
Submitted by element from cumming, ga
"This plant grows fast. It produces decent yields, but does not withstand rain, and wind well. I never had any dark green ones, most of mine were a light sea green. and were about eight inches long, and about the same diameter as a soft ball. I did use sea magic growth activator on them so that could explain the size and color. I picked them around two weeks after they formed on the stalk. every seed I planted came up, so you will have to thin them out. overall it is a good plant."
